VCS Group Tutoring Policy
Group tutoring sessions meet once a week for an hour for the length of
the semester. Sessions consist of a small group of no more than 8 students
and are led by a credentialed teacher. Minimum number of students required.
To be a part of a group tutoring session, a student must complete the Tutor
Request Form and turn it in to the tutoring coordinator. Once payment
for the entire month is paid and tutor form is received, the student may
The cost of group tutoring is $25 per session. Payment must be made for
the entire month no later than the 25th of the previous month. Payment after the 25th will result in a $15 late fee charge. Due to the limited availability,
payment for the month secures the student’s spot in the group. All
payment should be paid online or turned in to Shelly Keller in the MS Office.
Make-Up and Missed Sessions
If a student is unable to attend a session one week, they may make up that
time during the following month. One transfer allowed per student per
school year. Missed sessions are non-refundable.
Students are expected to come to each tutoring session prepared and ready
to learn. They are to remain on task and participate throughout group.
Disruptive, apathetic and/or disrespectful behavior will result in removal
from the group.
Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
