NEW - VCS to start an MS/Elementary Track & Field Team in 2018

The VCS Athletic Department is excited to announce the introduction of a VCS Middle School/Elementary Track and Field Team. We are partnering with the Valley Youth Conference and the Burbank Vikings Track & Field Team to offer a new opportunity for our middle school and elementary students (2nd-8th). We will be practicing along-side the Burbank Vikings Track and Field team at Burbank High School and be competing in local meets.

Practices at Burbank High will be M/Th - 5:45-7:15pm & Saturday mornings (time TBA) until March 12th. After March 12th, practices will be M/Tu/Thur with Saturday morning meets (locations vary) until May 12th. First practice is Feb. 10th. Cost $250 includes jersey and shorts. Parent participation is expected. Any parents who are willing to coach will receive $100 off their sign-ups. Only 5 parent coaching spots available. Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from practices and meets. All participants are welcome.

Coach Tutak will be taking sign-ups in front of the VCS Chapel from 2:40-3:30PM on the following dates:

Fri. Feb 2

MS Softball Tryouts
If you are interested in playing MS Softball, practices start on Thursday, January 25th at 3PM on the softball field. Please contact Coach Dave Rosenberg with questions: MRD346@aol.com


MS Baseball Tryouts

Wednesday & Thursday, February 7th & 8th from 3-4:30PM on the softball field. Players should wear baseball pants, t-shirt, cleats, and bring their glove. Players may bring their own bat, but it is not required. Players are only required to attend one day of tryouts but can attend both if they choose.

Sports Medicine

The mission of the Village Christian Sports Medicine program is to provide prevention, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and medical conditions.

Sports Schedule

Yearly sports take place at various times during the year. In fall, we have football, cross country, and girls volleyball. In winter, basketball and soccer take place. In spring we offer baseball, softball, and boys lacrosse, golf, and tennis. Finally, cheer and equestrian are offered year round.
