Tenth Grade Retreat - January 16, 2018

The theme of our 10th grade retreat is built upon the Freshmen Retreat where students learn about Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s Masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which he has prepared in advance for us to do.” This verse teaches us that God loves all of humanity as His created masterpiece, and our response is to love Him in return. These two loves represent the first two parts of the Great Commandment: love God, love yourself. During the 10th grade retreat, we learn about the third piece of the puzzle, “to love our neighbor”. This completes the Great Commandment.

The retreat is an off-campus, one-day retreat on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Students will come to school at the regular time, 8:00am, and return by the end of school at 2:40pm. We partner with The Dream Center as a way of serving and expressing our love for our neighbors in need. Village will provide lunch, and as a way of class bonding and celebration, we will go to Sky Zone in Van Nuys.
