Planet - a large sphere, or ball, that moves around the sun
Solar system - the sun, the planets, and other objects
Star - a hot, glowing ball of gases
Asteroid - a large piece of rock or metal in space
Comet - a chunk of ice mixed with rocks and dust moving through space
Meteor - a small piece of ice, rock, or metal that has broken off a comet or asteroid
Telescope - a tool to make far away objects appear closer and larger
Lens - a piece of clear material that affects the path of light rays
Constellation - a group of stars that form a picture
