Free Keyboarding Games

Directions: To earn extra computer minutes, play one of the keyboarding games below. When you finish a level, push the Print Scrn button on your keyboard (PC). Open up Microsoft Word, or another word processing program, and select Edit and then Paste. You can then print the page. If you have a Mac, use Cmd (also called apple key) + Shift + 4 then press the spacebar, then mouse click to select the window. This will place a picture file on your desktop. You will then need to print the pictures.

Remember: Ask your parents first, put your name on the paper, and print it in black and white

Keyboard Climber

• This is a good game for students who are just learning to type.

Pac Man Typing

• Instead of using arrow keys to help Pac Man go through the maze, students type letters. The faster the students can type, the higher their scores will be.

Typing Speed Test

• This site is for students with more advanced typing skills.

Cup Stacking

• The faster you type the letters, the faster you can stack the cups.

Super Hyper Spider Typer

• This game is good for all students learning to type. The student can choose between Easy, Medium, and Hard levels.

Dance Mat Typing

• This site is created by the BBC. It teaches students where the keys are located on the keyboard and provides practice. There are four different typing levels.

Typing Tidepool

• This site is good for all students learning to type.

Typing Revolution

• This is a typing game that is similar to Dance Dance Revolution. Instead of using your feet, you use your fingers to type the letters you see.
