Homework:

Monday - Write verse and application one time.

Tuesday -  Write verse and application one time.

Thursday - Write verse and application one time.

Spelling:  No spelling test this week.

***We will be reviewing our printing, cursive, and phonograms this week.  We will also add rule pages to our spellers.

English:

We will be studying prepositions and capitalization this week.

Writing:

We will be reviewing the structure of complete sentences.

 Reading:

 We will be doing various comprehension activities.

Math:

We will be working on Chapter 1: Place Value and Money.

Tuesday - Complete assigned pages in the math text.

Thursday - Complete assigned page in the math text.

*Make sure that your child is practicing their math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) on a daily basis.  Math facts will be tested weekly.

Social Studies:

We will be reading Chapter 1 on the Geography of California.

Chapter 1 Test - Friday,  September 19th    *Students will have notes in their Success Book.  These notes should be studied for the test.

Science:  No science this week
