Homework
Homework will be assigned on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights. It is primarily practice and responsibility. Some homework assignments will be graded while others may not. It is the student's responsibility to come to class with his or her homework completed.
Homework is assigned on a daily basis; therefore, what is listed below is a general overview of what to expect on that night. The students will write their nightly homework in their homework notebook at the end of each day.
Your student will be empowered to do their own homework. They should spend anywhere between 60-90 minutes a night completing homework and studying. Even though homework should not need your assistance, studying most definitely requires your involvement. Please help your child study for quizzes and tests on a nightly basis. Studying involves reviewing spelling words, vocabulary in all subjects, essential understanding questions (EU's), and chapter review outlines in both science and history.
