Welcome to Kindergarten!   We will be learning a lot this year.  You will be so proud of your child as they begin the year learning phonemic sounds and end the year spelling two-syllable words.  During the year we will be covering diverse concepts in math.  These ideas are often covered during calendar time in conjunction with a paper or manipulatives, so it's important to send your child every day to school. 

During Bible time we will discuss character traits, and learn a Bible verse that compliments that trait.  Throughout the year we will have unit studies on the Farm, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Zoo, Presidents, Bugs, Western,  and Sea Life. 

This year the children will spend time with specialized teachers.  Throughout the week, they will go to Spanish, Art, Music, PE and the Computer Lab.
