John 1: 12  Students will write the verse and its application on Friday, October 17th.

Homework:

Monday - Write verse and application one time each.

Tuesday -  Write verse and application one time each.

Thursday - Write verse and application one time each

Spelling:

Section R: popular - fly

Homework:

Monday - Write Section R: popular - collar in syllables in cursive two times each. 

Tuesday - Write Section R: comparison - fly in syllables in cursive two times each.

Thursday - Parent given pre-test

Spelling Test -  Friday, October 17th

English:

We will be studying prepositions and capitalization this week.

Preposition Test - Tuesday, October 21st

Writing:

We will be writing ecosystem postcards.

Reading:

We will continue reading Island of the Blue Dolphins. We will also do other reading comprehension activities.

Math:

We will be working on Chapter 3: Data, Statistics, and Graphing

 Chapter 3 Test - October 17th

          Homework:

              Monday - Complete assigned pages in the math test.

Tuesday - Complete assigned pages in the math text.

Thursday - Complete assigned page in the math text.

*Make sure that your child is practicing their math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) on a daily basis.  Math facts will be tested weekly.

Social Studies:

We will be studying Chapter 2 on the California Indians.

Chapter 2 Test:  Friday, October 17th

Science:

No science this week.
