Bible

For the rest of the quarter, we will be working on learning a longer passage of Scripture.  The verses for this week are Philippians 4:4-8.  Students will complete a fill-in-the-blank test of these words on Friday, May 30th..

We will also continue our study of Biblical heroes by looking at the life of Nehemiah.

Spelling

We will be doing various comprehension activities.  We will also be reading in book clubs.

****All book reviews for 4th quarter were due last Friday, May 23rd.  They will no longer be accepted after Tuesday, May 27th.

Math

We will complete chapter 9, studying measurement.

*Ch. 9 test is this Friday, May 30th

*Make sure that your child is practicing their math facts (addition, subtraction, and multiplication) on a daily basis.  Math facts are tested weekly.

Social Studies

We will complete Ch. 8, studying the growth of farming in California.
