Bits 'n Pieces

Dress up days:

Monday-Western Day...Tuesday-Sports Day...Wednesday-Hat Day (must wear uniform)...Thursday-Red, White, Blue Day (wear culmination T-shirt)...Friday-Hawaiian Day

Information regarding culmination will come home on Monday, June 2 On that day, the students will receive their culmination T-shirt and buttons if you ordered any. Culmination is on Wednesday, June 4 in the VCS gymnasium at 6:00 p.m. Students are expected to be dressed in their T-shirt and in the classroom by 5:30 p.m.

Fifth Grade Picnic: Thursday, June 5th. Bring in your bottled water any day this week. We begin the picnic around 11:15 in the morning. Parents are needed to help set-up and can join in on the fun beginning at 8:30 that morning. The IN-N-OUT truck will be providing lunch on that day. All students have paid for their lunches. If you did not pre-order a lunch, you must buy your ticket at the sales table located on the Administration field in front of the high school library. If you pre-ordered your burger lunch, go to the table and you will receive your meal ticket.

Friday is a half-day. We do not have a party because the students have all ready had their celebration on Thursday. The students will have a game day and a time to say "Good-bye".

Yearbooks are here! If you did not purchase a yearbook, you may do so for $40.00.

Things to bring in: We are in need of plastic or paper bags and medium-sized boxes for the upcoming Uniform Resale Event. We would appreciate all that you can collect. Have your student bring any of these items to school between now and the end of the school year. Thank you!

May the Lord bless all of my families! Thank you for sharing your children with me!

With joy,

Mrs. Ryburn
