Welcome to Kindergarten!  We will be studying many fun things together in room 3 this year including farm/fall, insects, zoo animals, ocean life, western life, Presidents, Pilgrims, and fairy tales.  We will learn to read and write phonograms and begin to read words, sentences, and simple stories.  We will work on writing numbers, and learn simple addition and subtraction.  In addition to all of the topics we will study, the children will experience Spanish, music, art, P.E. and computers with specialized teachers in each of those areas.  You can see that we have a VERY busy year planned!  Please do not hesitate to call or e-mail me if you have questions!
