Welcome to Sculpture Class!

This year you will learn the basics of sculpting, working primarily in clay and plaster with some mixed media.  This is a dynamic class, teaching you to perceive form and translate it into sculpture.  All of our projects will involve expression and creativity.  We will begin with simple projects and eventually work up to a self-portrait bust.  

We are finishing our plaster figure sculptures and will soon begin enlarging them to double scale!  The head sculpture is coming up next.
