How to do geometry work:
1.  Make sure you write down formulas in letter first for every problem. Show work. Show units (meter, inch) where appropriate.
2.  Draw figures with proper tools, even if book does not ask or tells you to sketch. Use ruler for lines, compass for circles, etc
3.  Do your work neatly, orderly and completely

Extra, Extra, read all about it:  Extra credit.
You may choose to do two of the extra credit assignments per quarter. You will receive 20 points on a quiz. (if your work seems extra special, lot of time, etc, I may consider giving you more points).
1.  Design and build a model house, plane, boat, etc. It may be made out of paper, cardboard, plastic, sugar cubes, etc.
2.  Design and build a polyhedron. See the web for ideas. Build it and decorate it. The plans you find on the web are not big enough. You will have to enlarge the model.
3. Draw an architectural drawing of a building or a house.
4. Build a kite that will actually fly
5.  Read articles (or watch some clips on Youtube) about the practical use of geometry. Write a one page summary and turn in the articles or list the videos you watched.
6. Draw a scale drawing of your house (or other house), blueprint style with measurements
7.  Make a Golden Rectangle
