Welcome to High School Girls PE What you need: VCS PE shorts and T-shirt which can be purchased at the same location of school uniforms and athletic shoes that give good foot support for participating in fitness activities. Sweat pants are optional however they must be solid red, black or gray, with no designer labels. Unit: Dance Dates for this unit: Present - End of school year Skills test: Learn dance routine. Test Date: Last week of unit. Excused participation: The only way a student can be excused from participation is with a note from the health office. The student must bring this note at the beginning of class. The student can be excused from the health office with a not from parent or medical doctor. The students must complete a make up assignment for each class missed to earn credit for each day missed. Homework: The students are required to take clothes home and wash them each week. This is mandatory in keeping the locker room a clean and healthy environment. Make up work: If a student is unable to participate due to an excused absence or parent or doctor's note they can make up this work following the instruction given in class on how to complete make up assignment. All of the students have been instructed and practiced the procedure in completing the make up assignments. The student must complete the assignment the day they return back to school. This means the make up work must be turned in before next class meeting or on the day of the next class meeting. Grading
