Week #2 February 4th - 8th 

   Monday - Gave out directions for, and began work on "2 Posters of Jesus."  One group wanted Jesus to be their king, and the religious leaders wanted Jesus as a criminal to be arrested.  We are making one 8" by 11" poster from the perspective of each group. (This assignment is due Wednesday, Feb. 13th)

   Tuesday - We read from the Bible a section titled, "Power Unlimited" It was about Jesus' miracles, we completed a crossword puzzle over it.

   Wednesday - We are working on a group activity, "Tower Building Project."  It illustrates the point, you need to have the right foundation if you are going to mature in Christ.

   Thursday - We are reading a section from the Bible titled, "Something for Nothing."  We will be taking a reading quiz over it... 

   Friday - We will taking the Week #2 Memory Verse quiz and the "O for Opposition" quiz... Periods 5 and 7 will be having their Bonus Points class parties...

      Week #3 February 11th-15th

   Monday - Introduced "P for Parables", worked on "Hidden Meanings" 

  Tuesday - Read (as a class play) and discussed "The Big Spender", which is a modern adaptation of "The Prodigal Son."

  Wednesday - Our two posters of Jesus are due...  ("Wanted Poster" and "Jesus for King Poster.")    Went over the key spiritual lessons of  K-O...  Updated credit totals as well as current averages.

  Thursday - Read a Max Lucado story, "The Parable", which talks about the extent of God's love for us...   Reviewed for Friday's 2 quizzes...

  Friday - Taking the Week #3 Memory Verse Quiz and the "K-O Key Spiritual Lessons Quiz."

       Week#4  February 18th- 22nd  

  Monday - No School  (President's Day)

  Tuesday - !0 main points , "P for Parables"   Video parable, "The Harvest" 

  Wednesday - We are focusing on the story of the "Good Samaritan."

  Thursday - We will be doing a review activity for tomorrows quizzes.

  Friday - Taking the Week #4 Memory Verse Quiz and the "P for Parables" Quiz

       Week #5 February 25th-29th

  Monday - We are working in groups on Parable skits

  Tuesday - We are presenting our parable skits

  Wednesday - We are reading from the gospels about "Who Is He Really?" We will also complete a reading quiz covering what we read.  Lastly, we will receive the 10 main points for "Q for Question."

    Thursday - "5 Clues About  Yourself" are due...  We are going over 2 notebooks, "Looking at it Logically" and "Some Say."  There will be a quiz over the 1st notebook next Thursday, and an assignment over the 2nd notebook that is due next Wednesday. 

   (The assignment over "Some Say" is to write a catchy, summary statement for each of the 6 main points listed on the notebook.)

    Friday -  We will be taking the Week #5 Memory Verse quiz and having a class activity, "Who Am I?"
