Wednesday, September 3:

1. Bring your 3 subject spiral notebook to class with you as well as other supplies for writing.

2.  Welcome to language arts class. Today, we set up the 3 subject spiral and learned the correct heading for papers.

3. Mrs. Mc Curley modeled the correct way to do Daily Oral Language.

4. Students copied  Spelling List #1 into the Spelling/Grammar section of the spirals.

5. Spelling #1 test will be Friday, September 12.

Thursday,September 4:

1. Middle School Handbooks were given to each student. The contents were highlighted and questions answered. There are two signature pages to be returned. The students will turn the signed pages in to Mrs. Mc Curley no later than Friday,September 12.

Friday, September 5:

1. On a separate paper, write the words for Spelling List #1 as whole words, not syllables. Cursive wriing is the standard. Turn in the paper when finished.
