Art Program
In the Fine Arts Academy Art program, students will explore their artistic abilities through drawing, painting, and creative exercises.
First Grade Tuesdays 3:15 – 4:15
Second Grade Tuesdays 4:15 – 5:15
Third Grade Tuesdays 5:15 – 6:15
Middle School Thursdays 3:00 – 4:30
Fourth/Fifth Grade Thursdays 4:30 – 6:00
Each art class is a 10-week session.
First through third grade is one hour weekly for $160.
Fourth through Middle School is an hour and half weekly for $240.
A lab fee will be collected to cover the expense of supplies
Hyunsook Cho - teacher
An award-winning artist, who has created public arts in the NoHo art district of Los Angeles, Ms. Cho has conducted many workshops with studetns for art grant programs. She holds a BA in Fine Arts from Hong-Ik University of Fine Art in Seoul, Korea, and a MA of Fine Arts from Cal State, Long Beach. She has also worked in the animation industry for 20 years and won an Emmy. Her works have been displayed in numberous group and solo exhibitions in museums and galleries world-wide. She works in paint, scupture, mixed media, as well as photography, and has created enviornmental art installations.
