Tim Ellis - 3D Art
Tim Ellis has been teaching three-dimensional art at VCS for over15 years. He graduated cum laude from Alfred University with a bachelor of fine arts, earned his masters degree in education from National University and holds a California teaching credential. As well as teaching, Mr. Ellis is a working artist, exhibiting his own sculpture and writing, recording and performing music. With professional experience in animation, fine art and music, Mr. Ellis equips young people with the skills needed to succeed in the art world. His students regularly score high in advanced placement exams and have earned numerous honors at the National Scholastic Art Competition. Mr. Ellis is known for his passion for Christ and for working with students.

Adrian Haurat - 2D Art
Adrian Haurat teaches high school drawing, painting, and advanced placement studio art, and middle school drawing. He earned a bachelors degree in Art with an emphasis in drawing and painting from Azusa Pacific University, where he also graduated from the APU Honors program.This is Mr. Haurat’s fourth-year teaching at his alma mater. He believes that all students can be successful if they form good habits, are dedicated to improving, and are receptive to instruction. For this reason, Mr. Haurat is devoted to providing foundational visual arts knowledge to beginning art students, and challenging experienced students to continually expand their breadth of knowledge and technique.

Susanne Krausse - Elementary Art
Susanne Krausse began studying art when she was 11 years old at a small art studio in La Canada, California. When she was 14 she began working at the studio teaching and doing inventory, which she continued doing through high school and college. She received a bachelor degree from California State University, Northridge in fine art with a concentration in studio arts. She is a specialist in our elementary program, teaching over 300 elementary students weekly the fundamentals of painting and drawing. She is also a muralist and chalkboard artist, working in Southern California.

Blanca Schnobrich - Digital Arts
Blanca Schnobrich teaches high school digital photography, graphic arts, and serves as the adviser for “The Crusader” the award-winning high school yearbook. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Cal State, Los Angeles and is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. Mrs. Schnobrich is also a Los Angeles area freelancer and has designed numerous commercial websites, and promotional materials for area businesses, as well photographing celebrity headshots. She has also served as the graphic designer and photographer for VCS. She loves connecting with high school students because they are “creative, smart, and fun to be around.”

Eli Kreunen - Video Production
Eli Kreunen currently serves on our faculty as the video production teacher. He received his bachelor of arts in Communications with an emphasis in television and film at Vanguard University of Southern California, followed by completion of the Film program at the Los Angeles Film Studies Center. Mr. Kreunen also started an Advanced Video class in 2009 and is continuing efforts to expand and enhance the film department. Hi students’ films have won first place in film festivals in Southern California.
