Annual Fund: An Investment for the Future
The Annual Fund is an investment you can make for the future. This year our theme is “Growing: hearts, minds, spirits,” as a reflection of the growth we have experienced over the last year, and how that has touched our families and students emotionally, academically and spiritually. We want to continue this growth and build for the future. he Annual Fund allows us to bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost of educating a student at VCS. The goal of the Annual Funds is to have 100% participation, regardless the size of the gift. We ask all families to participate at whatever level they are able.
If you choose to support VCS, we have several different recognition levels based on the amount of your gift. They are:
Sword Level (gifts to $500)
Shield Level ($500 and above)
Crossbow Level ($1,000 and above)
Helmet Level ($2,500 and above)
Armor Bearers ($5,000 and above)
Crusader Circle ($10,000 and above)
Court of Honor ($20,000 and above)

Reasons to Support the Annual Fund:
• Tuition covers only about 80% of the actual cost per student. Your gifts enables us to close "the gap" between the tuition charged and the true cost of educating a Village Christian student.
• Rather than "nickel and dime" our parents with many small fundraisers, the Annual Fund allows families to make a once-a-year, generous tax-deductible gift that directly impacts their child's education.
• The Annual Fund provides much needed resources for academics, athletics, arts, promoting Christian values, and education. Every student benefits across the board from the combined impact of all Annual Fund giving.
• Board members, employees, families and alumni all contribute to the annual fund, and 100 percent participation shows outside donors that the VCS community supports the school and can, in turn, lead to other gifts.
