Practical Parenting + is a program begun in 1993 at Village Christian Schools with a goal of strengthening families by providing help for parents in their most important job--parenting! Practical Parenting+ is now a part of the Village Church Family Enrichment Ministry.
Through monthly articles, classes, seminars, books for check-out in the high school library, catalogs and networking, parents are given tools and techniques that make parenting easier and more fun. Click on the Program Description for more details.
Charles Swindoll once wrote, "Effective family life does not just happen; it's the result of deliberate intention, determination, and practice." PP+ is here to help you follow through with your good intentions in a deliberate, determined way and give you effective techniques to practice until they become automatic responses.
Parenting CLASSES are the best way to benefit from this program. Do you find yourself in constant power struggles with your kids? Do you find yourself often yelling, nagging, reminding? Are things going well, but you want to know how to keep it that way? If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, our course, "Becoming a Love and Logic Parent" is for you!!
