Common Problems with TVator and Video Connections |
1. If what shows up on the TV is not what you expect and everything seems to be plugged in correctly, try cycling through VIDEO and TV modes using the Input button on the remote control.
2. If you are using the TVator and, after checking the cable connections, the computer picture is not showing up on the TV, try unplugging and re-plugging the TVator, then turn the TVator back on. You may need to do #1 also.
3. If your monitor is on, but no picture is showing, make sure the computer is on, then make sure the TVator is not unplugged. (The cable from the computer to the monitor goes through the TVator.)
4. Even if you think all cables are plugged in, check again. Also check at the surge strip. (More often than not, when Tech is asked for help, we still find a cable or power plug disconnected.) |
