WELCOME TO PERFORMING ARTS, MEDIA + ENTERTAINMENT

The Performing Fine Arts, Media, and Entertainment Concentration seeks to connect technical excellence and mastery with the creative expression of each student’s individual abilities and skills. The vision and goal of this concentration is to equip students to become communicators of beauty and truth in their chosen field. Potential career paths include: actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, composer, film director and producer.


MEET THE DEAN


NATALIE TAYLOR

Natalie Taylor serves as the fine arts dean at VCS and holds a BA in music, with an emphasis in vocal performance and music business. She has been performing and singing since the age of seven in numerous musical theatre productions, choirs, bands, recordings and concerts. Most recently, she performed at Disneyland in The Voices of Liberty, an eight-part acapella show and was a featured soloist for the Candlelight Processional with Kurt Russell and Dick Van Dyke. Other credits include: The Queen of the Night in Mozart's The Magic Flute, Rosa Bud in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Hong Kong Disneyland quartet, guest soloist with the Golden State Pops Orchestra and Orange County Pops Orchestra, Dunkin' Donuts National TV commercial and background vocals for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. In addition to serving as the fine arts dean, she is also the Fine Arts Academy director, and also teaches private lessons in beginning piano and voice.
