Libraries

Village Christian School features two separate libraries on its campus, one designed for our elementary students, and the other focused on our middle and high school students.

Elementary Library

From the deepest oceans to the highest peaks, our world is full of adventure, mystery, and vibrance. The wonder of discovery ignites our imagination and gives us a glimpse into the majesty of God’s creation. Every book a child picks up provides this looking glass – a WINDOW ON THE WORLD and the first steps in a special educational journey.

Village Christian Elementary students have access to the joy of reading in their beautiful library, the WOW Learning Center.

In our overly digital world, having a place to curl up with a favorite book and sail away to a different land is an unimaginable gift. The educational adventures our students experience in this space will change their lives forever.

The library can accommodate full classes for in-room reading and learning. It is equipped with a large-screen Samsung UHD Smart TV for enhanced lessons as well as a wide variety of flexible seating options both inside and outside the room.

This is a place where classes are taught, group research happens, and most importantly, students discover the joys of reading books.

Secondary Library

The VCS library provides an academic atmosphere for student research and study needs. With a collection of 5,500 volumes, access to EBSCO database, 14 student computers, printer and copier, our goal is to provide up-to-date resources for and assistance with essays, research and projects. The library is conveniently located between the central office and the high school and is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4pm.
