Head Coach | Julian Andrade

Head coach, Julian Andrade, enters his second year at Village Christian after leading the Crusaders to a league title in year one, a 24-7 overall record, and a CIF-SS Quarterfinal appearance. A veteran of both the CIF City Section and Southern Section, Coach Andrade brings a wealth of experience to Village Christian. Coach Andrade has worked at all levels of basketball from youth camps through collegiate coaching. His experience allows him to deliver a meaningful experience to the student-athletes of VCS.
Prior to VCS, Coach Andrade worked as the Associate Head Coach at both Chaminade and Calabasas High Schools under well respected basketball tactician, Jon Palarz. During his three seasons with Coach Palarz the Eagles and the Coyotes combined for two league titles and three playoff appearances.
Coach Andrade has previously served as the head coach at Oaks Christian, Bellarmine Jefferson, and Eagle Rock High School. His teams have qualified for the section playoffs every year as a head coach while amassing 161 wins and just 90 losses. He has helmed 5 different squads that won league titles.
His diverse background includes collegiate experience (Pierce College Women's Assistant Coach), national level youth coaching (ARC - leagues and traveling teams), collegiate prospect level AAU (BTI), and prestigious summer camp coaching (Kobe Bryant Skills Academy). Coach Andrade is most proud of the VCS program's mantra of "Faith-Family-Basketball"...in that order.
