BALLET

Primary Ballet
This class is for students who have already taken Pre-Primary Ballet and have met the requirements to move to the next level. (K - 1st grade recommended)
9 classes: Beginning the week of September 21 and ending the week of November 16
Parent Observations the week of November 16 during regular class time. There will NOT be a fall recital. We recommend continuing in the same class for the spring and participating in the spring recital. Recital date TBD.
Thursday: 3:00-4:00 PM
Location: On campus in the AUDITORIUM with an additional private 30-minute session
per student
Cost: $145
Instructor: Nicolette Sikelianos
Attire: Pink leotard (skirt is optional), pink tights, ballet shoes and tap shoes.
Hair should be pulled up into a tight bun.
LEVEL 1 and 2 Ballet
This class is for students who have already taken Primary Ballet and have met the requirements to move to the next level. Students will have graded examinations and receive a certificate of achievement for each level.

LEVELS 3-5 RAD Ballet
This class teaches the Royal Academy of Dance curriculum of LEVEL 3-5. Students will have graded examinations and receive a certificate of achievement for each level. Upon completing Grade 5, students can begin Pre Pointe and Pointe work.

a tight bun.
LEVEL 6 RAD BALLET
This class will cover all the technique necessary to prepare for pointe work. Continued strengthening of ballet technique and development of awareness of body movement is a key focus on this level. Pointe work is further integrated into classes and will increase in complexity and difficulty as students progress.

HIP HOP
This class is a fun and engaging way to keep your student active in dance. They learn a variety of warm-ups, dance games and choreography.
5 classes beginning the week of September 21 through the week of October 19
Parent Observations the week of October 19 during regular class time. There will NOT be a fall recital. We recommend continuing in the same class for the spring and participating in the spring recital. Recital date TBD.

Attire: Comfortable street clothes that your student can move easily in and tennis
shoes with socks. Hair pulled back away from the face.
