Welcome to the Fine Arts Department at Village Christian School!

Here at Village, we challenge our students to understand what they believe, and to develop a deep, authentic relationship with God. We want our students to leave our school and make a genuine impact on the world. But how will their message be communicated? And who will listen?

The Fine Arts Department exists to help develop the creators of the future. Our exceptional teachers and directors have created strategic programs to equip our students with a voice that people want to listen to. That voice requires a combination of excellence and innovation that can rise above the other voices: musicians that inspire, writers that engage, directors that tell important stories, and dancers who use movement to connect with their audience.

Our vision for the Fine Arts at Village Christian is to develop students who are excellent in their craft and to help prepare them to go out into the world and be a light in the industry, sharing the love and grace of Christ in everything they do. Whether it be on stage, TV, film, or through an instrument, we aim to equip our students with the tools they need to be effective communicators through the medium of art.

Natalie Taylor
Director of Fine Arts

We believe that artistic expression is a gift from God that every child can receive, enjoy, and develop.

Fine Arts Academy

The arts are highly valued at Village Christian School, and this is exemplified through our unique and distinguished extracurricular programs, administered through our Fine Arts Academy. These exciting programs provide K-12 students with more advanced one-on-one education in classes and productions such as acting, musical theatre, dance, and private lessons in a variety of instruments. Our teachers are industry professionals with a passion for education and the desire to help our students grow in their gifts and talents.

Most Fine Arts Academy classes are open to both VCS and non-VCS students.

Various camps are run at different times of year for all ages, including over the summer. Visit the Fine Arts Academy page to learn more about the current offerings.

Patron's Club

THE PATRON'S CLUB provides an environment where we, parents and supporters, empower students in the Performing Arts programs through financial support, volunteerism, and fellowship. The Patron's Club raises funds and resources to supplement and enhance elementary through high school VCS Performing Arts programs including theatre arts, dance, band, choir, and much more. Patrons help to provide needed equipment, costumes, sets and more - to assist our student artists in creating amazing works in a supportive (and fun!) environment.
