- Newsies Dance Camp! (6-12th grade)
VCS Theater Arts will be doing "Newsies!" next spring 2022! Get a head start on preparing for the epic and challenging choreography in this musical. This camp will build your technique and skills in tap, stomp and musical theatre dance. We need ALL middle school and high school students who want to audition, to take this 1 week intensive dance camp!
Dates: June 21 - 25, 3:00PM - 6:00PM (Auditorium)
Grades: Entering 6th - 12th grade students

- Musical Theatre Camp (JK-5th)
If you love acting, dancing, and singing; this is the perfect camp for
you! Students will explore the world of musical theatre and learn a condensed
version of a show. It is for students entering Pre-K through 5th grade.
Dates: July 12 - 16, 10:00AM - 4:00 PM (Auditorium)
Cost: $400

- Elementary Dance Camp (JK-5th and 5th graders entering 6th grade)
This camp is for anyone who enjoys dancing or wants to learn how! Students
will explore a variety of styles (Hip Hop, Tap and Musical Theatre) Open
to students entering Pre-K through 5th.
Dates: July 26 - 30, 12:00PM - 3:00PM (Auditorium)

- Musical Theatre Audition Workshop (6-12th grade)
Learn and drill the successful steps to an audition! This one week intensive
will focus on individual audition pieces for each student. We will also
record each student’s performance for them to use for upcoming auditions.
Next year, we are doing “The Sound of Music” in the fall and
“Newsies” in the spring. After this camp, you will have songs
prepared for both of these auditions.

- A Capella Camp:
Learn the skills needed for singing in a small, a cappella ensemble. We
will work on team building, vocal coaching, part singing, and recording
a song together.
Date: June 26, 10 AM - 4 PM
Grades: 6-12
Cost: $125
Instructors: David Das and Natalie Taylor
- Studio Vocal Intensive:
We will be learning the necessary skills for singing in a recording studio.
Students will record individual solos as well as background vocals for
their classmates.
