VCHS Theatre Arts Wins Big at 2019 CETA Festival
Village Christian High School Theatre Arts' production of TWENTIETH CENTURY took part in the 2019 California Educational Theatre Association (CETA) High School Theatre Festival over the weekend and brought home it's share of hardware.
TWENTIETH CENTURY placed third in our Area (Area 1) and fourth in all of Southern California.
Sixty-seven productions competed in the three-day festival, which highlighted some of the best high school theatre in Southern California.

In addition to the competition, students also participated in a variety of workshops on acting, stage combat, stage makeup, organization of prop rooms, the business of acting, developing a character, and more.
"The CETA Festival was a truly amazing experience for our students," said Theatre Arts Director Thom Babbes. "The environment was focused on supporting each other. Seeing other schools doing good work and taking workshops with other threatre kids made this festival a sensational event."
