Parent Teacher Fellowship

The Parent Teacher Fellowship at VCS has a long, rich history of committed support and dedication to the mission of Village Christian Schools. In the founding days of the school , parent involvement was key to accomplishing the early goals of the school, and that is still true today. Under the direction of Al Rediger, the first PTF was formed in 1950, and since then parents have volunteered on campus in various capacities. The name reflects the partnership that parents have with teachers, working together for the benefit of students.

Today PTF functions on four levels: elementary, middle school, high school and executive. The executive PTF is charged with advisory oversight of all PTF functions. At each level, parents are in fundraisers and events unique to their school. Some of the amazing events and fundraisers our PTFs have been involved with include the elementary Race for Education, Silver Wars, gifts baskets for teachers, holiday gift sales, the bi-annual family fair, skate night, and many more.
