Hello and Welcome to a new school year with us at Village Christian School. We look forward to providing bus transportation service in the communities where most of our students live in the 2021-2022 school year. However, we need your responses to let us know which students will be using our services as we plan the routes for the morning , home to school, and after school rides home in the coming year.
Routes are going to be planned base on parent’s indicating their children will be riding. So if you need our Bus Service, it’s important that you respond to this email if you anticipate using our school Bus Service at any time during the year.
Safety is our first concern. We will be complying with guidelines on keeping our buses sanitized for each trip made throughout the day. Our drivers care deeply about your children and undergo the most rigorous training and annual safety tests with the state of California.
As we’ve done in recent years, We offer the last two weeks of August, free of charge, and First time enrolling students, can use our bus services for free of charge (including anyone who first enrolled in school year 2020-2021 school year, since we had no buses this past year) if your student is being dropped off or picked up from one of the listed “Central Stops” you have designated.
Please email email@example.com indicating:
- Do you plan to use the bus service AM(to school) and/or PM Route.
- Do you plan to normally have your student picked up, or dropped off at one of these Central Stops. If none of these “Central Stops” locations work for you; PLEASE contact Anie Rodriguez (AKA: Ms. Romo) to discuss what location will work for a pick up and drop off of your student.
- Do you plan o using the Bus Service most days, or only occasionally, such as purchasing passes for specific months, or packs of individual day passes? If not normally riding, please indicate approximately how many days you anticipated using VCS bus services.
Thank you for helping plan our services for this school year. Should you have any questions about locations, rates, etc., please contact Anie Rodriguez (Ms. Romo), the Assistant Director of Transportation, at (818) 767-8382 ext. 221, or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
